How can we produce high-quality, affordable glacier glasses locally? This project explores sustainable manufacturing by collaborating with Alpine-based companies to ensure traceability, durability, and performance. By prioritizing short supply chains, we reduce environmental impact while supporting local expertise. To avoid plastic injection, we use laser metal cutting and folding, the most efficient manufacturing process for producing small series locally. This method allows the design to evolve over time, adapting to different sizes and needs while maintaining flexibility in production.
