STUDIO GUBERAN
Liquid to Air

Liquid to Air : Pneumatic Objects is an exhibition of 3D-printed inflatable works in collaboration with the Self-Assembly Lab. Using Rapid Liquid Printing, a new printing process, we can craft large, customized, dynamic products with complex shapes, internal chambers, and intricate surfaces. Each pneumatic object is “drawn” by a robot in a tank of gel suspension and inflated to take on its intended shape. This printing process enables the individualized production of large-scale objects in a matter of minutes, ranging in scale from a vase to a chandelier.
